Grade 6 studenetsfrom Trafalgar Middle School took their learning on the road Thursday morning - literally. 

Pedestrians and parents were treated to a public display of learning as 140 students 'flash mobbed' the 400Block of Baker Street.

Environmentalist Sheila Street from the BC Ministry of Environment presented to Ms. Comrie’s 8-5 students on hydrofluorocarbons and the consequences of oil spills on our environment. Students had the opportunity to use a variety of materials to experiment with soaking up a simulated oil spill. What did they find? PLASTIC works the best! Why?
