The Grade 8’s enjoyed a trip to Ainsworth Hot Springs and the Grade 7’s went to the NDCC pool for an afternoon of fun as part of our PE program.

Gr.6s will go swimming on Monday Oct.29th.

Congratulations to the 7/8 girls volleyball team who travelled to Oliver, BC this weekend and won first place in the tournament! They played teams from Penticton, Keremeos, Osoyoos and Oliver.

La classe de Mme Davina et de Mme Hobden (7-1) vise haut ! 7-1 has been busy goal setting this week.

“Orange Shirt Day is a legacy of the St. Joseph Mission (SJM) residential school commemoration event held in Williams Lake, BC, Canada, in the spring of 2013. It grew out of Phyllis’ story of having her shiny new orange shirt taken away on her first day of school at the Mission, and it has become an opportunity to keep the discussion on all aspects of residential schools happening annually.
