Congratulations to the 7/8 girls volleyball team who travelled to Oliver, BC this weekend and won first place in the tournament! They played teams from Penticton, Keremeos, Osoyoos and Oliver.

La classe de Mme Davina et de Mme Hobden (7-1) vise haut ! 7-1 has been busy goal setting this week.

“Orange Shirt Day is a legacy of the St. Joseph Mission (SJM) residential school commemoration event held in Williams Lake, BC, Canada, in the spring of 2013. It grew out of Phyllis’ story of having her shiny new orange shirt taken away on her first day of school at the Mission, and it has become an opportunity to keep the discussion on all aspects of residential schools happening annually.

The sun was out and the finish line milk, cookies, and fruit were delicious!

To start off the year, we are hosting our Second Annual Corn Roast on Sept. 20, 2018 at Kokanee Creek Park. There will be many games and relays followed by a BBQ with lots of corn! In the afternoon, teams of students will build cardboard boats concluding with a race to see who wins!

Students should bring the following:
