Nelson Italian-Canadian Society Helps Feed Trafalgar Food Program

 Throughout the year, the Nelson Italian-Canadian Society runs several events that are used to raise funds that are put towards supporting charitable causes in Nelson and area.

 The NICS volunteers put in many hours making sausages, Pizzelle cookies and spaghetti sauce that is pre-sold online through the Nelson Italian-Canadian Society Square Online store.

 The Trafalgar Food Program is focused on providing food to students who may not have access to adequate food at home.  The NICS fundraising activities all revolve around creating food, and it is fitting that some of the funds raised through these events can be used to provide food for others.
