Easy as π

Today Trafalgar celebrated Pi day with it's First Annual Pi reading contests.  

22 Students from all grades faced off in an irrational test of memoraization and reciting of the digits of pi. 

The contest was organized and led by Grade 8 teacher Mr. Geddis.  

The challenge was won by Teo Ried who reached 133 digits.

 

The top 3 finishers were:

1 Teo Ried (Gr 7) 133 digits

2 Roman Van't Land (Gr 6) 68 digits

3 Natalie Nailon (Gr 7) 61 digits

 

All competiters enjoyed a piece a pie together after the compettion, and the top 3 took home a pie to share with their family and friends.
