Trafalgar’s cross country running team is setting a strong pace this year with 15 plus athletes on the team. Coaches Chris Mieske and Amy MacKay run two mornings a week with the group before school. The team has attended two meets, in Castlegar and Nelson, with some particularly good race times from Benny Braymen, Marla March and Kale Francis on the senior team. Next up- a race in Kaslo on October 21st. Trafalagar will bring the thunder to the season closer- Zones on October 27th in Salmo.
