January 8 Daily Announcements



  1. TAG 8-5 will be going by bus to the NDCC for an orientation of the fitness center this Wednesday during PE. Please meet Mrs. Proctor on the bus. No gym strip is needed.
  2. The Ab-Ed students that made hand drums before the holidays are invited to a drum painting session Thursday at lunch in the Ab-Ed room. Please meet Mr. Yas there and bring your drum and pattern you wish to paint.
  3. The Student Library Advisory Group will be meeting Tuesday at lunch.
  4. Parent-Son Book Club: January 11, 5 – 6:30 pm. Ages 11-16. Introducing the Parent-Son Book Club at the Nelson Public Library! Read No Coins, Please by Gordon Korman in preparation. You can find the book at the front desk anytime we are open. You can expect an informal chat about the Korman book and other books that we love around a table full of pizza!
  5. Extra hoodies for sale in the office.  Bring your money ($37 for a zip hoodie or $35 for a pullover) if you wish to purchase.
  6. Anyone missing a pair of prescription eyeglasses, please come to the office.
  7. The snowball zone will be open for designated grades only.  Please remember snowballs must stay below the shoulders and there should be absolutely no face washing. It is important to follow these rules if you want to keep the snowball zone. Please help everybody stay safe and have fun in the snow.
