  2. Canteen is closed Thursday and Friday this week.
  3. Attention book club members. Our next book, The Book Thief is in! You can come by and get a copy from Mme Machado during break or lunch. We will have our next meeting on Tuesday, January 30 at lunch time in Room 303.
  4. Lost: Red and Black Skull Candy earbuds. If found, please return to the office.
  5. Trafalgar’s LGBTQ group will meet Friday at lunch in the Book Room. Friends and allies are welcome. See you there!
  6. A brand new year and brand new books in the library! Come by and check out our new arrivals table at the entrance to the library. New titles include The Unwanteds series, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Wind Up Girl, and Tokyo Heist. We have also added a new selection of magazines including Transworld Snowboarding, Powder, and Thrasher.
  7. The Ab-Ed students that made hand drums before the holidays are invited to a drum painting session today at lunch in the Ab-Ed room. Please meet Mr. Yas there and bring your drum and pattern you wish to paint.
  8. Parent-Son Book Club: today from 5 – 6:30 pm. Ages 11-16. Introducing the Parent-Son Book Club at the Nelson Public Library! Read No Coins, Please by Gordon Korman in preparation. You can find the book at the front desk anytime we are open. You can expect an informal chat about the Korman book and other books that we love around a table full of pizza!
  9. The snowball zone will be open for designated grades only.  Please remember snowballs must stay below the shoulders and there should be absolutely no face washing. It is important to follow these rules if you want to keep the snowball zone. Please help everybody stay safe and have fun in the snow.
